Aldea Kuká is a barefoot eco-village at Holbox's remote eastern tip, with eight palm-thatched palapas arranged in a circle around a communal fire pit just meters from the lagoon. The lodge is completely car-free and phone-signal-free, accessible only by a 20-minute golf cart ride from the village, making it one of Mexico's most authentic digital detox destinations. Guests share meals family-style at long wooden tables, and the on-site cenote is open for swimming at dawn.
