ATV Combo Horseback Riding, ATV, Ziplines, Cenote and Lunch
The experience
This jungle combo tour packs four activities into a single visit to the Mexican Caribbean's interior forest: an ATV trail ride, a zipline circuit, horseback riding, and a swim in a Mayan cenote, with lunch included along the way. It's built for travelers who'd rather sample a range of jungle experiences in one outing than commit a full day to just one, and it runs with pickup service from Cancún, Playa del Carmen, and Tulum.
The ATV trail is often the first activity travelers gravitate toward, following a bumpy dirt track through the jungle that turns to mud after rain, adding a layer of unpredictability to the ride. From there, the group heads up into the tree line for the zipline circuit, crossing the forest canopy on a series of cables that offer a different vantage point on the same jungle just explored from ground level.
Horseback riding brings a slower, quieter rhythm to the day, led by horses that live on-site and are used to guiding visitors along the property's trails at a relaxed pace — a contrast to the speed of the ATVs and ziplines earlier in the day. The tour closes at the cenote, where travelers can jump into the water for what amounts to the most refreshing stretch of the visit after hours of dust, adrenaline, and jungle heat. A snack, bottled water, and lunch round out the day before the return transfer.
With four separate activities and a full afternoon or morning commitment (the tour runs roughly five hours), this is a good match for groups and families who want a taste of everything the jungle interior offers rather than deep-diving into one activity. Travelers should bring at least a moderate level of physical fitness, and it's not recommended for anyone with spinal injuries, cardiovascular concerns, or who is pregnant — the combination of ATV vibration, zipline exertion, and horseback riding adds up over the course of the visit. What sets it apart from single-activity tours is the horseback riding element, which most jungle combo tours in the area skip in favor of just ATVs, ziplines, and cenotes.
Come dressed to get dirty and wet: a change of clothes, a towel, closed shoes, a swimsuit, sunscreen, biodegradable repellent, sunglasses, and a bandana for the ATV leg are all recommended by the operator. Weight limits apply across activities — 270 lbs for ziplines, 300 lbs for ATVs, and 220 lbs for horseback riding — and only travelers 18 and older can drive their own ATV, with younger riders (17 and under) required to ride with an adult. Cell phone use is restricted during the activities for safety reasons.
Admission to the horseback riding, cenote, ATV challenge road, and zipline circuit are included, along with round-trip transportation, ATV insurance and fees, and a snack with a bottle of water. Photos and locker rental (five US dollars) cost extra and are not part of the package. Pickup timing depends on whether you're booked for the morning or midday departure: the morning tour picks up between 8:00 and 8:30 am in the Cancún and Playa del Carmen zone and between 7:00 and 8:00 am in the Tulum zone, arriving at the park around 9:30 am, while the midday tour picks up between 12:00 and 12:30 pm in Cancún and Playa del Carmen and between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm in Tulum, arriving around 1:30 pm. Tulum-based travelers and Airbnb guests are asked to meet at the Super Aki supermarket downtown, and if your hotel isn't on the standard pickup list, a representative will reach out directly to confirm the exact time and location once your stay is confirmed.
