East of Tulum and Playa del Carmen, a stretch of jungle hides Mayan ruins, limestone sinkholes, and canopy dense enough to swallow sound. This combo tour packs four ways of moving through that landscape into a single day: horseback riding, ATV driving, ziplining, and a swim in a cenote, with lunch and round-trip transportation built into the price. It is aimed squarely at travelers who want variety over a single deep-dive activity, trading a slow, specialized outing for a sampler of jungle adventure.

The day opens on horseback, a deliberately unhurried pace meant to ease you into the surroundings and reach spots that vehicles cannot. Once you dismount, the tempo changes: you climb onto an ATV for a faster run along jungle roads, kicking up dust and covering ground the horses could not. From there the group moves overhead, crossing a series of ziplines strung through the tree canopy, with the operators describing their circuit as one of the more secure setups in the region. A hanging bridge factors into the route as well, adding a different kind of crossing between the ziplining and the rest of the itinerary.

The last stop is a Mayan cenote, one of the sinkhole pools that pockmark this part of the Yucatan Peninsula. After the exertion of riding and flying through the trees, you get the option to enter the water either by walking down stairs or by taking a water zipline straight into the pool, a small adrenaline coda before the day winds down. Two tacos and purified water are provided along the way, giving you a chance to refuel between activities rather than pushing through on an empty stomach.

This tour suits active travelers comfortable moving between different physical activities in one outing, rather than those who prefer to linger at a single site. It calls for at least a moderate level of fitness, and it is not recommended for anyone with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health, or who is pregnant. Only adults 18 and older may drive their own ATV, though children 17 and under can join as passengers with an adult. Weight limits apply across the activities: 270 pounds for the ziplines, 300 pounds for the ATVs, and 220 pounds for horseback riding, so it is worth checking those numbers against your own group before booking.

Pack a change of clothes, a towel, closed-toe shoes, a swimsuit, sunscreen, biodegradable insect repellent, sunglasses, and a bandana if you plan to ride the ATV, since dust kicks up along the trail. Cell phones are not permitted during the activities for safety reasons, so plan to leave photography to the optional paid photo package rather than your own device. A locker is available for a rental fee plus a refundable deposit if you need somewhere secure to store belongings.

Pickup runs on two different daily schedules, morning and midday, with times that vary by zone. Cancun and Playa del Carmen hotels are picked up between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. for the morning tour or between 12:00 and 12:30 p.m. for the midday tour, while Tulum hotels are picked up earlier, between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. and noon. Morning groups arrive at the park around 9:30 a.m., and midday groups around 1:30 p.m. If your hotel is not on the standard pickup list, a company representative will contact you directly to arrange a special meeting point, and travelers staying in Tulum without a listed hotel are directed to the Super Aki supermarket in downtown Tulum. It is worth factoring transportation time into your plans for both pickup and drop-off, and if you booked a different zone than where your hotel is actually located, that needs to be corrected through the booking engine ahead of time, since the cost differs by zone.
