Tulum Jungle 1KM Zipline+ATV+Cenote+Water Zipline & Rappel
The experience
Tucked into the inland jungle of the Riviera Maya, this full-day outing at a Mayan adrenaline ranch packs together nearly every outdoor thrill the region is known for: ziplining, ATV riding, a rope-assisted rappel into a cave, and a swim in a cenote. Rather than choosing one activity, this tour strings several together into a single six-hour circuit through the forest, so travelers who cannot decide between a canopy tour and a cenote visit get both, along with an off-road ride and a cultural touch at the start.
The day opens with a Mayan ceremony, a ritual moment meant to set a reflective tone before the physical activity ramps up. From there the group heads to a cave cenote called Yun Ha, where a rappel descent of roughly four meters lowers travelers down to the cenote's clear water. Once at the bottom, there is time to swim and explore the cave setting before climbing back toward the treetops for the zipline circuit, which includes four lines total: three canopy runs plus the longest zipline on the Riviera Maya, a full one-kilometer stretch above the jungle canopy.
One of the ziplines in the circuit is built to end at a river, where riders' feet skim the water's surface as they glide in, using the water itself to slow the landing rather than a mechanical brake. After the aerial portion, the pace shifts to the ground: participants drive their own ATV along jungle trails, weaving through dense vegetation on a route shaped by the ranch's natural terrain. A second cenote swim offers a chance to cool off, and local guides share background on the region's ecosystem and history along the way. A Mexican lunch, including a light beverage, closes out the day.
This combination suits travelers who want an active, varied day rather than a single focused activity, and who are comfortable with heights, water, and driving their own vehicle over uneven ground. Because the tour is described as suitable for all physical fitness levels, it works for mixed groups of varying experience, though the rappel and zipline components mean participants should be at ease with the idea of being harnessed and lowered or suspended above ground. It is not recommended for pregnant travelers. The mix of a cultural ceremony, two cenote stops, a full zipline circuit, and self-driven ATV time is what sets this itinerary apart from single-activity tours in the area.
Hotel pickup and drop-off are included, with the exact pickup time confirmed the day before by email or WhatsApp; travelers are asked to be ready at least ten minutes before that scheduled time. Round-trip transportation runs in an air-conditioned vehicle, and safety equipment, including a helmet, harness, and life jacket, is provided on site along with certified guides throughout the day. The listed price is final, meaning no extra payments are required on arrival for the included activities.
A few extras are available but not required: a professional photo package can be purchased at the park, as can goggles, scarves, and other ATV accessories for those who want them. Lockers can also be rented on site, which require a refundable twenty-dollar deposit returned when the key comes back at the end of the visit. Since the day includes water activities, a rappel, and off-road driving, it makes sense to wear clothing and footwear you don't mind getting wet or dusty, and to bring anything personal you'd want secured, since locker use is optional rather than automatic.
