Wonderful Jungle Experience with Horse Riding, ATV, Ziplines and Cenote

The day typically opens on horseback, with the horses leading you along trails beneath the canopy while a guide points out details of the jungle you would otherwise walk past. From there you move to the ATVs, where you can choose to drive solo or share a vehicle with a partner as you navigate the dirt tracks that wind through the trees. The order of activities can shift depending on how the group is moving that day, so a first-time rider might find themselves on the zipline course before the ATVs, or vice versa.

The zipline stretch takes advantage of the jungle's changing elevation, sending you over the treetops on lines built to standard safety specifications. After the aerial run, the pace slows for the cenote, a sacred Mayan freshwater sinkhole where you can swim or simply sit at the edge and cool off after the more physical parts of the day. A snack lunch and purified water at the ATV park close out the visit, giving everyone a chance to recover before the ride back to the hotel.

This tour suits travelers who want variety over specialization, people who would rather sample four different jungle activities in one day than commit a full day to just one. Come dressed for activity: a change of clothes, a towel, closed shoes, a swimsuit, sunscreen and biodegradable repellent, sunglasses, and a bandana for the ATV leg are all recommended. Weight limits apply across the activities, capping at 270 pounds for ziplines, 300 pounds for ATVs, and 220 pounds for horseback riding, and the tour is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health, or those who are pregnant.

Pickup is arranged either through your hotel lobby or a designated meeting point, with two schedule options: a morning departure with park arrival around 9:30 am, or a midday departure arriving around 1:30 pm, with exact pickup windows varying by zone (Cancun and Playa del Carmen, or Tulum) and confirmed directly by the operator. Tulum guests without a listed hotel are asked to meet at the Super Aki supermarket downtown.
