La experiencia
Xenses park sits inland from Tulum's beaches and takes a different approach to a day out, building its attractions around perception itself rather than around a single ecosystem or ride. Over a half day, visitors move through more than 15 activities spread across two circuits, each designed to play with sight, touch, balance, and the other senses as you pass through varied terrain by land, air, and water. This tour includes round-trip transportation from Tulum, so the day starts and ends with a ride to and from the park.
The route through the park is built as a sequence of contrasting environments. You pass through the Xensatorio, a stretch of ecosystems experienced in the dark where sight is set aside and the other senses take over navigating. From there the path continues through a Path of Dwarfs and Giants that plays tricks with scale and perspective, into a Labyrinth of Underground Arteries carved through cavern-like passages, and on to El Eden, an area given over to dense natural surroundings. A Xitric Garden and a walk through a recreated town add more stops where the visual games and optical illusions mentioned throughout the park keep testing what you think you're seeing.
Water and motion play just as large a role as the visual tricks. A slide sends visitors down into cooler water, a zip line offers the sensation of flight, and a river of extremely salty water lets you float without being able to submerge. There's also a river of mud that visitors are invited to enjoy the way a child would, covering themselves head to toe, and a waterfall area for rinsing off afterward. Xensatorium stands apart from the rest of the circuit as a more intense, emotionally charged experience that the park intentionally leaves undescribed in its own materials, though it does flag that some visitors don't finish it and that anyone with claustrophobia should think twice before attempting it.
This is a tour built for people who want a mix of physical activity and sensory novelty rather than a traditional sightseeing day. It suits travelers of varying fitness levels, since the park states it's appropriate for all physical fitness levels, though the additional information notes it isn't recommended for people with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health, or those who are pregnant, which is worth weighing before booking. What sets Xenses apart from typical eco-parks in the area is its emphasis on optical illusion and darkness-based navigation alongside the more familiar zip lines and water features, giving it a different feel from a standard cenote or beach club outing.
Round-trip transportation from Tulum is included, along with access to both circuits, the Xensatorium experience, and the visual games and illusion-based scenarios throughout the park. A small gift for souvenirs is also part of the package. Food, drinks, and souvenir photos are not included, so plan to budget for meals during the visit and know that professional photos taken in the park are available for separate purchase.
Because much of the park involves sliding into water, wading through mud, and moving through caverns, comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended rather than anything you'd want to keep pristine. Pricing at the park is structured by age and height: children five and older pay the child price, those 12 and up pay the adult rate, and kids four and under ride for free on a lap, provided they're registered in the booking so they're allowed on the transportation. Height also factors in for children's pricing, with the park using measurements around 3.2 to 4.6 feet to determine which rate applies, and ID may be required to confirm a child's age. One more practical note: the date of your visit cannot be changed on the day itself, so it's worth confirming your plans before heading out.

Xensatorium a very emotional experience, in which truly beyond valuing your body, you value your life, I will not describe the experience so that you can fully enjoy it, I only comment: not to be afraid (many people do not finish the tour) it is great .. ... If you suffer from claustrophobia, preferably do not do the xensatorium
