Chichen Itza (Early Access), Cenote & Ek Balam Ruins Tour
L'expérience
Most Chichen Itza tours arrive with the crowds already there. This one gets you inside before the gates open to the general public, so the first hour is just you, the guide, and Kukulkan's pyramid without a thousand other cameras in the shot. After walking the Great Ball Court and the Temple of the Warriors while the light is still soft, the day cools off with a swim in Hubiku, a cenote roofed in hanging stalactites, followed by a buffet lunch of regional Yucatecan dishes. The last stop is Ek Balam, a smaller and far less crowded site where you can still climb the Acropolis — one of the few pyramids in the region visitors are allowed to climb — for a view over the jungle canopy.
