The visit begins at the Pinwheel, described by the park as the point where the experience starts to shift, before opening into the Xensatorium, a cluster of activities that includes a slide, a simulated bird flight, and the Lodorama. From there the route winds through a Path of Dwarfs and Giants that plays with scale and perspective, into the Labyrinth of Underground Arteries, and through the greenery of El Edén and the color of the Xitric Garden. A separate stretch of the park is designed as a Town where the usual rules of gravity and orientation stop applying, alongside dark ecosystems you move through without the benefit of sight.

Water and mud show up throughout rather than being confined to one zone: a slide drops you into an underground cavern pool, a zipline carries you through the air, a saltwater river lets you drift, and a clay river invites you to get thoroughly muddy before a rainfall-style waterfall rinses things off. Scattered between these set pieces are visual games and optical illusions built specifically to keep your perception guessing, so the pacing alternates between physical activity and quieter moments of puzzling over what you are actually looking at.

The park markets itself as suitable for all physical fitness levels, which makes it workable for mixed groups, though it explicitly advises against participation for travelers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health, or for pregnant travelers, and anyone excluded from activities for medical reasons is still able to pay the entrance fee and wait in the rest area. Round-trip transportation from your hotel is included, along with access to lockers, toilets, showers, and an on-site ATM. Logistics require some attention: the tour operator issues a boarding pass that must be printed in advance, and it is specifically the white version that is valid, not the green Viator purchase receipt, so travelers should hold on to both and know the difference. A screenshot of the cardholder's ID is also required, and the cardholder must be the lead traveler and must be present at the park, or the official boarding pass cannot be issued.

Pickup is organized by zone for guests staying outside the standard hotel network. Travelers based in downtown Cancún, Airbnbs, or otherwise hard-to-reach locations meet at Marina Puerto Cancún; those in Puerto Morelos meet at Hacienda Morelos; Playa del Carmen guests gather at Plaza Antigua or Plaza Las Perlas after contacting customer care; and in Tulum there is no hotel or Airbnb pickup at all, with guests instead meeting outside the Hotel Aloft Tulum. Pickup times are set by location and begin around 6:40 a.m., so anyone without a listed pickup point should contact the operator promptly to avoid being left without a ride. Guests staying at the Occidental at Xcaret Destination are close enough to walk to the park entrance with help from hotel concierge rather than being collected. Dates cannot be changed on the day of the visit, so confirming pickup details ahead of time matters.
